Agreement

By using Atela, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The Service

Atela is a task management application that lets you create, organize, share, and track tasks, lists, and schedules across your devices. The app works locally on your device and optionally syncs with our servers when you create an account.

Your Account

You may create an account using Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each person should use only one account.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Atela. When you use sync and collaboration features, your content is transmitted to and stored on our servers to enable these features. We access your data only as necessary to provide the service. We do not monitor, scan, or analyze your content beyond what is required for service operation.

Subscriptions

  • Free tier — Core task management features with usage limits.
  • Pro tier — Expanded limits and advanced features including insights, increased storage, and AI-powered capabilities.

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Atela for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the app outside authorized channels
  • Abuse the service by exceeding reasonable usage limits
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or rate limits
  • Use automated tools or bots to access the service without permission

Availability & Disclaimers

Atela is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not responsible for data loss that may occur due to device failure, software bugs, or user error. We recommend keeping important information backed up.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of Atela shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms. For material changes, we will provide 30 days notice through the app. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
